Hydro Phi’s PEM cell is simple: electricity from the alternator splits water into hydrogen & oxygen:
2H2O => 2H2 + O2
The hydrogen & oxygen are injected into the air intake, improving combustion efficiency and reducing emissions. Fuel is burned more cleanly and more completely. The Hydro PhiHydroPlant™️ PEM cell uses a proprietary Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA), which is extremely efficient & very reliable. The service life is rated for 10 years. Only requires pure distilled water (< 1ppm TDS)
